Ok, this is just a quick gameplay prototype of Feeding Frenzy. It's all about catching flies with your frog. Scale your window down if framerate is bad.

Feeding Frenzy

Left/Right = rotate frog on lillipad
Spacebar = shoot tongue out and try to catch flies.

Currently, you can catch both flies and hornets, but in the final version you'll obviously lose a life for sucking in a hornet.

Got lots of ideas for improving this one :

Multiplayer
Jumping to different lillipads
Frog grows as you eat flies
Crocodile that keeps you moving.
 
Two things:

Very hard to see the frog on the pad since it uses the same color pallette.

If I hold down the spacebar, this happens: catch a fly suck him in - spit him out - suck him in - etc.

Overall, an interesting start.
