I've been experimenting with the height of my monitor, and I'm wondering if there's a general consensus on the proper height for a monitor. I've read that the top of the display should align with your eyes, but this seems too low for me. So my question is, how high do you guys keep your monitors relative to your eye level?

I have mine with the top 1/3 aligned with my eyes. It is very comfortable to me.
Same for me. My eye level is about 1/3 down from the top.

Top 1/3 for me too. It depends how close you are to the screen and how big it is as well.
The most important thing is you don't want have to tilt your head up because it will cause neck strain.
TN panel ideal viewing angles are from slightly above.
