Hey,

We have a Dell projector and ATI video card in the machine that goes to the projector. The screen is too small or the projector is mounted to far away. So without moving the projector or screen is there software to resize the screen to fit without stretching or skewing the picture? I know in ATI video properties you can stretch and skew the image and the projector has settings (Projector is maxed out with settings). I thought there was a program that could do this? It wasn't me that mounted the projector before testing.

Thanks,

no, there are no known computer programs that can bend and shape light

You will have to adjust zoom on the projector, or move it backward.

So it's always going to take whatever resolution is supplied to it and maximize it to whatever the projectors settings are? Thought maybe if you gave it some messed up resolution it would work.

Even if you use just a portion of the center of the resolution of the projector, you'll still have light bleed around the edges and you won't be using your full resoloution. If your projector has a zoom, use it. If not, re-mount it. Anything else will look like crap.
