Hello all,
A good friend of mine liked my 1st project, and decided that he wanted me to mod his case. He has a TT - Shark, im gonna do a simple mod, using plexi (blue and transparent), a 2x120 RadGrill and some white leds. Some photos:

Here is the plexi and the grill
ea616f16.jpg

At the moment the ideas for this case mod are:
* Open a hole on top to put the grill with some 120mm fans
* Paint the front and B shape on the side with some dark\marine blue
* Open a new window on the side panel and fill it with the transparent plexi and after create a shape with the blue plexi that will be lighted with leds.
* Make a "radiator holder" using blue plexi on the HDD place
* Make some holes on the side to help the cable hiding
* Get a way to draw\paste a shark shape shadow (in the plexi) on the side mesh area
* Anything else that might come to my mind while im doing the above ;) LOL

*NOTE* After i finish this project i got a sponsorship in form of another case that i will start right after finishing this one so you gonna hear from me more.

A few questions on the grill. How wide are the stripes(each) and how wide are the spaces(each) between the stripes?

I would guess about 10cm. It is a 2x120mm rad, there are 11 lines in each fan. That means 13 spaces, over a bit larger than 120mm area (per fan)...

Hey all
Finally got some time and a place to work so here are some photos:

In the end it resulted really well IMO :) just needs some trimming to be perfect.

More tomorrow or so

Nice work! I like way you opened up the side panel like that. Looks good leaving the vent piece in there. I always thought that would look kick ass, but never seen anyone do it till now. Excellent work! Question: With the plexi on top, are you going to open up vents to match the RadGrill? Or just like a rectangle shaped trip, with the whole inside cut away? Hopefully you are cutting the vents, cause that will look sick!

i hope this answers your question Dee :)

Thank for the constructive critics and for the compliments, ill start a 3rd case in some weeks

Very nice cut work on the panels. The shark and big B pattern looks great! :)

I'm not sure about the pseudo stick-on carbon-fiber stuff. May be you can add some clearcoat over it and polish a bit to have it shine? It doesn't look great as is. With some work, it might look fantastic. Any ways, I like the radiator grill work on top!

What tool did you use to make your cuts? I didn't see any mention of a Dremel, RTX, rotozip, or jigsaw, and no pics with the tool in it. Thanks.

Looks Nice! That carbon fiber stuff sure is handy.

If you cannot diasble the flash then I like to grab all the desklamps and bring them into the brightest room in the house. That may help.

Wow... That's good stuff. I also agree with the comment of trying to clear coat the CF sticky stuff... Something to give it that shine that says, "Hey! I'm a sexy beast! Look at me!" But still, it's a helluva nice case. I'd buy it :)

you guys are just great with all the critics you make :)
Thank you very much. My project is now in exibithion in a store i will try to take some pictures with natural daylight and post it here.
After that ill wait my friend too finish assembling the interior and take some pics of it fully lighted day and night

once again thx :D
