Hey I am looking for a program to rip the music from my CDs to my computer so I can listen to music while playing games that require a CD and also so I can make playlists so I odnt have to change the CDs so much.

Thanks

Windows Media Player or iTunes or Musicmatch could do it. I have no idea what the quality of this is (though back then I tried WMP and after encoding to WMA, it wasn't that good).

I use Exact Audio Copy + LAME MP3, Vorbis, and FLAC for mine though.

I use Windows Media Player. You can choose to rip them as WMA or MP3 files with the latest version (10).

EAC to rip, lame with alt-preset-extreme switch to encode for the best quality MP3's.

Yeah, just rip with EAC + Lame. And if you rip the cd playlist, you just open up Media Library in Winamp, and just select the album u want to listen to, or all the songs.
