Program to Recover Files

One of my departments oldest secretaries was transferred to another department recently. However when my departments secretary left she also deleted every single file under “My Documents”, yes that includes work related files.

So as you can imagine we’re not only pissed, but trying to figure out how to get those files back (if any). Now I know there’s a couple programs out there that will attempt to bring back files on a hard drive that have been deleted, but I’ve never had any experience with them. What programs would you guys recommend?

Nice freeware app. Worked when I deleted an entire hard drive I thought I had already copied over to another drive. I'm sure there are others but this worked for me.

Very important: Make sure you don't write anything to the drive or you make recovery more difficult. Some files could be lost if data is written. If you can, put the drive in another computer then try recovering files from there. Make sure you write any data to another drive.
