smilies constitute images (I think even sig smilies), try reducing those.

and I realize I have a lot of images, but I didn't think there was a limit, and also it was giving me the error NOT only when I was posting images, but descriptions alone as well.

The maximum images per post is set to four including your signature. I'm not sure how you even got to post that many images originally, but you have been filtered from adding any more or probably even editing your thread unless you kill the img. tags and make them url. tags

I read this and it reminded me of my thread here:

http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=907141

Myself and a few others posted well over 4, if this is a setting, it doesn't appear to be working for everyone. I've been able to edit it many times without issue. If I need to take any of them down, please let me know.

Thanks

Whether or not the image limit filter is on or not, the limit of 4 images per post still applies, so an edit in your case would be in order. The reason is simple..... it slows down the loading process.
