Problems installing monitor on new PC....

Hi, all.

Two small issues, please, with my new Win7 build:

-1- My Viewsonic monitor is showing up in Device Manager as just "Generic PnP Monitor," even though I have installed the newest drivers, and reinstalled them, and the system claims the drivers have been installed successfully. Is this normal or do I need to do something else? I have onboard Intel HD4400.

-2- My monitor is connected via a DVI-D cable into the DVI port of my Asrock H81M-ITX motherboard but Device Manager says it is a "standard VGA". Is something wrong, or do I ignore this? In Display Adapters, I see "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter."

Please disregard.

For number 1, I had to separately uninstall the drivers and then reinstall them.

For number 2, apparently the HD4400 was a known issue for Intel. There is a special, difficult-to-find one that you have to use. Thanks, Intel.
