Problem With flashing my sony dvd burners firmware

So, my dvd burner (Sony DVD RW DW U10A to be exact, its a pull from a powermac g5) stopped reading dvds
so i tried to upgrade its firmware
the program says there is no drive detected that the firmware can be flashed to. are there any programs out there that manually flash raw firmware onto it? i really need this drive to work

does anyone have any ideas as to what i should do?

nevermind i looked around a few other places and fixed it. feel free to delete this or w/e
