I just got my box up and running, and I would like to update the nVidia nforce drivers to 6.70. Should I just run install and overwrite, or should I uninstall the old drivers first? All that shows up in Change/Remove is "NVIDIA Drivers"... (along with n Tune and nv Mixer) -- no description of what they are.

Has nVidia cured their crappy IDE drivers in this last version?

Thanks.

That's what I did..and it works great for me. :)

Uh, OK, WHICH did you do--overwrite the old drivers or uninstall the old drivers?

Hi All,

Sorry to hijack your thread but I am interested in the same thing , particularly when windows is installed on a RAID volume. Wouldn't it be disastrous to remove the current drivers in this scenario to make way for the newer ones ?

Please advise.

Best Regards,
Caspanis
