what is the best browser for OSX?

IE, Safari, or should i get something like firefox....

personaly I go for Safari because I haven't had any real problems with it plus I love tabbed browsing and popup blocker built in

My vote is also for Safari. Hardly encounter any problems. All of the plug-ins needed are installed. Tab browsing is the ish and the pop-up blocker works like a charm.

safari is good and well intigrated

I'm still an opera fan though :)

and for browsing there is basicly no differnece between safari, opera and firefox

I love firefox, but I still use safari.
The reason is, smooth scrolling in firefox sucks

i use opera mostly because there are several things about safari that really irritate me. for instance when you first start the browser you have to type the address of search term and hit enter before the page is done loading otherwise everything will be deselcted. its fucking irritating.

Safari here, Firefox is slightly faster but takes forever to lauch, at least on my system, and I haven't been able to transfer my bookmarks over to firefox either.

That is kind of annoying, I'll survive though.

OmniWeb 5 beta. The only thing it lacks is AdBlock for flash banners, but it's still just a beta, so I forgive them. :p

Safari. Unless I need to use IE to access a page at my University.

yeah id probably just deal with it too but this is my school computer so half the time when i open safari im not looking to read slashdot but instead togo to a specific site or google search.

I use safari unless I'm trying to visit a website that does some strange javascript stuff. I've found Safar's Javascript support a little lacking.

The only other borwswer I use is Firefox.

I use safari a lot, but have just started using firefox. Firefox shows promise, and loads some pages that Safari has problems with. I keep IE around for any page that absolutely won't load in anything else, but the last release of Safari let me start using it for my banking page, so I use IE les and less.

Safari is my first choice because of it's OS X integration. It feels more natural.
Firefox is my choice for speed.
Opera 7.5 is my choice for speed as well, and my choice for customization options.
