I'm building a mini-itx rig with Cooler Master Elite 110 case and the ASRock Z97E-ITX/ac board. No issues with that setup. The problem is the Seasonic S12II 380B which is a good psu, but the cables are insanely long for a mini-itx build.

The cable for the motherboard power for example only needs to be 4 inches, the one i have is close to 18 inches. Most of the cables are 15-18 inches in general with this power supply.

Can anyone recommend a different power supply or modular one with short cables specifically designed for an itx build.

Thanks

Those aren't that much shorter
Yes, but they are as short as PSU cables get.

It would sure be nice if Silverstone offered a really short cable set, seeing as they have quite the selection of Mini-ITX cases.

The SilverStone PP05 Short Cable for PSU Set and the Silverstone Tek Flat Flexible Short Cable Set for Modular PSUs (PP05-E), would work, add the SilverStone Strider Plus ST50F-P 500W ATX 12V v2.3/EPS 12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified 100 % Modular Active PFC Power Supply (Black)

I'm looking at $130 for just the power supply kit. sigh. i'm guessing the cable set wont work with other brands. Maybe i have to be creative and find a way to route my existing cables out of the way.
