It was last summer, so I tossed the dead lamps. I probably should've made the effort to get replacements. Oh well. I'll buy another if I see a cool color combo. Good to know about the old vs. new lamps. I'll try to avoid the Chinese ones.Initially the floor standing speakers sounded like crap until I angled them downward. They sound better now.
If your lava lamps failed, contact lava lamp on their site and tell them they failed. They will replace them by sending new ones, and you won't have to send the old ones back.
Even better, try to get lamps from the 90's from eBay. They flow much better and typically don't cloud up like the ones made today. The lamps in the 90's were made in the USA, while the ones made now are made in China...
