Yeh dude, I rule!

Side and close of the block. Yes thats a battery plugging up the fill line. Its wrapped in tape don't worry ;)

I had to mount the fan externally due to space. Ill be getting a silver alum fan soon enough thatll also actually move air, as opposed to the fan I have now:

And heres how I have the power cord coming out :D

Benny: its to make sure NOTHING is leaking. if that thing gets wet, I panic.

enforcer: its until I can find something else to shove in it to block it

got an actual valve now...its so fucking heavy I had to zip tie it so it wouldnt flop around

Also I'm picking up the alum 120 fan at compusa on my lunch break...its the exact same thing as the evercool, they look exactly the same and both push 80 CFM @ 2000 RPM 30 dB. And I KNOW the better fan will make my temps drop as I took off my front bays, put a piece of board inside so the rad sucks air in the bay, then up into the rad (and not from inside the case), and I cant even feel the air move unless I put my hand against the rad.

Cookie, nice setup! I have that same case, but not watercooled yet (link). Did you have to modify anything to get that radiator to fit there?

yes, i had to cut off the top pci hole/bar so the rad would fit, the slot above the agp slothole. You can also put it where the hd cage is in the front bottom, but you will have to remove the cage.

edit: ohh i like the front bezel on yours, very slick.

Cork works too ;)

I just want to know, how did you mount the radiator on the back panel of ur case. Did you get those brackets from homedepot or Orchards? Dude gangstrnezz, wut kind of pump is that? Is it powerful enough to support the cooling or something?
-_-
-flipman.

Pump looks like a Swiftech MCP600. Don't be fooled by its relatively low 160gph rating, it's maximum head makes up for it ;).

cookie: i like the look of the chaos of tubes, seriously :p but you really REALLY need to get some clamps on that CPU block before disaster occurs

FAN UPDATE!

case.jpg

I like how it looks a LOT better than the old one...now I just have to steal my friends black bezels (hehe), figure out a neater way for the intake vent in the drives, and im set...FOR NOW

I love those aluminum fans! they fit so well with the lian li's

nice job man.

kronchev, why do you use 2 of your 5.25" drive bays as an intake area? Isn't your rad intaking air anyway because it's always better to have the coolest air blowing on the rad?

He he youre right, i ran out of the metal clamps, gotta get more. The blue plastic ones dont cut it with 3/4 od tubing.

The tubing looks crazy, but its as compact as i could get it..lol.

Yeah, the pump seems to be great, similar to the iwakis i believe. It gives great head and it runs off 12v. It looks like alot of tubing, but i think i only used about 4-4.5 total feet due to the crampedness.

hey cookie: gotta say that tubing looks awfully NICE!!!
it's so crazy i can't even follow where each tube goes:confused:. very nice:D! did you plan it or did it just happen? how long did it take for you to fit all of that in too?

Thanks :)
Yeah, that was actually the 3rd revision of the tubing. First i used a 5/8od(1/2id) tube, but it kinked way too much and the tube length got pretty high to avoid kinkage. So i switched to 3/4od tubing and got this.

Now im where the pics show. Its running pump-cpu-nb-vga-rad-res.

i dont find it to be too bad to bend, picked it up for like $6 for 10 feet compared to 30some odd bucks for 10feet of tygon.

Well I finally got mine done.

Waterblock - white water
pump - eheim 1250
reservoir - custom
radiator - JR120
Tubing - 1/2" ID
custom enclosure

xp2500 @ 2.15v
Idle: 36c
Load: 43c

nice wc system. the tubes leading to external part of wc, they might put notches or cut watr flow, put springs in ur tubing to prevent that. Do you go to lan parties? dat wud suck carrying 2 boxes round.
-_-
nice system
-flipman

Is the Eheim 1250 powerful enough to handle pumping from an external box to your main box? I am kind of skeptical, IMHO a Danner Mag 3 or Swiftech MCP600 or Iwaki MD-15R would do better.

I like it :D

There's plenty of room, 120 mm fans, a removable motherboard tray etc.

The top was bolted on tho :( And I'm not sure how do I feel about the front bezel :)

damn.... jwill... thats a sweet lookin setup indeed...

did the auction specify what kind of case that was?

That cube looks awesome, but I couldn't stand to be near it with all those fans. Kinda defeats the purpose of the water cooling.

holy shit the glowing tubes for the CPU's block are fucking AWESOME! I want to know how to do that...

uv dye + blacklight in the water...

nice looking case, but really expensive for my tastes.
