Post your "rate my cables" here

is there no fan blowing air into the nivida gpu? that might be a nice addition

flawless computer though it is really nice

Patriot Inferno 120GB SSD plus a couple HDD

I'm about eighteen months late posting this pic and now it's time to build a new computer.

 that is seriously impressive

That color scheme is pretty sick man. I like it.

amazing! i think you should spray paint some or all of the pci slot covers purple too. wiring is flawless though.

thanx guys,

@ gigatexal there are 2 fans in front of the case that blow through the HDD cage at the videocard

Actually thats Paracord, its much cheaper and ships from the US. BTW I already got some sleeving for sata cables :D Next step is getting fully modular psu which will be sleeved completely

Paracord eh? It looks pretty good! Love your choice of colors, it's refreshing on the eyes.

Paracord looks nice and all, and yes you can buy it here......:D

I've used it, but it frays and "sheds" over time and gets dirty like a pair of socks.

I know from use it's easy to use and a bit more flexible than plastic sleeving.
Your technique is awesome and the color combination is very nice. I'm sure you have a bunch of hours in your work there.

Sleeving a full PSU would be a real challenge. I generally make extensions, due to those stupid ferrite things on the ends of most modern PSUs.

Really love the looks of the sleeved cables. Great work.

Here is my latest effort. I switched out of a Lian-Li PC-7B to a Corsair 400R. Much easier for wire management with the Corsair. I passed the Lian-Li down to my son.

And, here is my son's rig using my old Lian-Li. Definitely not as wire management friendly.

Not much to say. Just standard cable so far. No fancy sleeved wires, though I do plan to do it in the future.

Great work guys.. If there is an opposite thread you would see the inside of my rig. :) I'm terrible when it comes to wire management... The best I can do is that velcro wire wraps and try to make it look ok so the air can circulate.. :)

Will post mine in a day or two, in the process of moving everything in to a FT02BW. No individually sleeved wires yet, though I'm tempted to give it a shot. I am however a bit leery as my PSU (Antec TruePower Quattro 1KW) uses big thick rubber / plastic rings around the cables at the beginning and ends of sleeves rather than heatshrink, and I'm imagining those suckers will be particularly miserable to get off. That and I'm fairly sure I'd have to open it, voiding whatever warranty may remain. I might just use individually sleeved extensions but that gets pricey vs. ordering a bunch of red or black paracord and heatshrink, and it seems like a cop-out.

Here you go, my latest build is a POS Thermaltake Chaser Mk1 Watercooled 2500K at 4.9ghz and 7970 at 1270x7000 (soon to be CM Storm Trooper)...

Will post back then...

whats wrong with that case? looks nice to me. painted inside, toolless everything, rubber grommets and wire routing space, room for a rad up top... only thing i dont like is those stupid feet but they look like you could probably pull them off.

Front IO panel shorting out causing the pc to crash when I plug in usb devices, fan controller never worked from get go, neither do the LED controller for the fans. Both side panels are so warped that it is hard to get them on and off without breaking something. Finally Thermaltake support is the worst ever. So far 4 requests for support have gone unanswered over the last 4 week period. I am done with Thermaltake...

The Chaser Mk1 would have been a great case if QA was better and if Thermaltake had responsive support. My Meka G1 keyboard was also a POS, the letters on the keys started to wear after the first few hours of use, and guess what? No response from Thermaltake....

Live and learn, at least I was able to build a neat computer :)

Just do like I did. Don't sleeve all the way down to the PSU. You'll feel a bit jank when you do it since you aren't sleeving all the way down the the PSU, but if the alternative is extensions, you weren't going to sleeve down there anyway.

Personally, I didn't want to draw attention to the very bottom of my case, and since I sleeved in white, it would have drawn a bunch of attention.

Ya, new Switch 810. When it comes to wire management, I would have made the following changes.

Moved the PSU mount 1/4" closer to the windowed side panel. This would give more space between the PSU and mobo tray for routing wires behind the PSU. In the picture that lone wire bent towards the back of the case was one hell of a tight fit...1/4" more space would of made it a ton easier.

I would have added 1/8" more space behind the mobo tray...with 1/4" making things absolutely dreamy. If a 4 pin molex gets turned perpendicular to the side panel, you won't be able to close it. 1/4" of an inch would have solved this problem....maybe even 1/8".

There are no wire tie locations on the back of the mobo tray towards the front drive bays. All of the tie down points either run along the top of the case or are directly behind the motherboard. Having some more by the drive bays would have made routing my Sata data and power cables SO much easier. As it was, you just have to mash them flat and put the side panel on really fast....not something I enjoy doing on a case with so many other good wire management features.

Wow. There are some awesome machines in here. I may need to look into some custom looming. Here is mine as it sits...

No rear fan?

No rear fan?

There is one by default, but I removed it as I was contemplating putting my WC pump in that location. I still haven't gotten around to reinstalling it. I was going to for a positive pressure case anyways, so I don't really need a rear exhaust fan with 3 top mounted exhaust. If I can get my hands on a quiet red LED 140mm fan, I'll stick it back there as another intake with a filter mounted on the outside. Otherwise, I might just seal up those vents and be done with it :)

Lol figured that out as soon as I posted. Took a few tries to get it right ^_^

Works now, And might I say that is a very clean and tasteful rig.

Thanks! It took a while to do, but was well worth it.This is the first time I've ever done anything like this and I really enjoyed it.

Nicely done, but that hard drive seems pretty lonely...

Yeah, The full tower does that, I ran out of funds on my limited budget. I expect as time goes on I'll be able to add an SSD and a few more HD's.

The case comes stock in unpainted AL. I also used a hole bore to drill out custom Wire management. It's not the greatest, but I'm still proud.
