Post your "rate my cables" here

holy crap people, he wasn't ripping on the guy for using an 80mm fan just his argument for using it. If he had said it's all i have this whole conversation would never have happened

Ok, here's mine with my most recent addition. Not super pretty, but things are mostly out of the way:

Yeah I really like the way that looks. Not sure what it is, but I've always loved the look of the inside of that case. And well done on the wires.

Replaced old cooling setup for push/pull fans after I found a front fan bracket for my True for $5 locally.

Here's a case mod I'm currently working on. My PSU cables were too long, so I shortened them and desoldered the one I didn't need. It's a tiny case, so I did this to give me some moderate cable management. :)

CURRENT. Sleeved. Still putting things together:

I've still got more work to do, getting the cable secured and the modded case fully assembled. But so far so good! :D

Which case is that?

Where did you get those speaker stands? I have the same speakers, just need some stands. right now they're sitting on Xbox 360 game cases lol

Very clean btw!

Haha, yeah it's a case mod I just completed. Thanks to silent_circuit and WiLLiSTER for repping in my stead. :)

As for the sharpied PT sweats, that's from by OCS days. Charlie Co. 4th Plt. Yut...

I only got the 6950 cause it was getting too hot in the room with the machine in it. ;) I suspect I'm the only person to do this ever...

4890 x 2 noise wasn't bothering me, performance was still very solid at 1920x1200 and DX11 wasn't that compelling, but the fact the room was getting so hot that my beer wouldn't stay cold... that was bothering me.

I just built this for our office its going to be "my" sandbox for virtual machines to complete some whitepapers (Hyper-V FTW!). 2 more sticks of ram and 2 more hard drives show up on Monday :D

I have been wiring like this in zero cable management cases for years. Any suggestions are always appreciated, or just say its perfect and pad my huge ego lol

For what you're working with, it's perfect. There, your ego just got a little bigger.:)

I was joking on the ego portion but thank you anyways :D

I hate wiring in these small ATX Antec cases with no cable management to speak of. They are falling so far behind features wise to other case manufacturers they need to update their line up quick.

Built this guy a few months ago, I could have done better with some modding, but as it wasn't built for myself, didn't want to shorten cables or anything. took every trick I had to hide all I could.

I revived my Antec 300 and breathed some new life into it.
- flat black paint
- cable management holes in the motherboard tray
- slotted PCI slot covers
