I know I'm going to be looked down upon but here's my Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 and Taipan.
What ultimately did me in was was the mx blues.
The only reason I never considered one was the lack of switch choice. Otherwise they might very well have gotten me for a Tournament Edition, when they finally released it.
But I want nothing to do with blue switches. I don't want or need that extra noise. I've got o-rings on my TK to quiet up the sound of me bottoming out every keystroke
My current setup:
Those are Mad Dogs with thick Alpha pads.
Right the first time. I have some HE-400's too, but the Mad Dogs get all my gaming time
Not to sound rude, but if you are wanting to avoid extra noise maybe you would want to look into proper typing technique on a mechanical keyboard, rather than bottoming out (which in the long run isn't the best thing for your fingers/wrists).But I want nothing to do with blue switches. Thanks!^ Tyler, looks good. I can also recommend the Logitech K750 if you're after a decent scissor switch keyboard. Very nice to type on, very thin like the Rapoo. Plus comes with the added bonus of being wireless and solar powered. Charges off ambient light from a desk lamp, never have to worry about wires or batteries again.
I use proper positioning and posture. I have big hands. It just happens. My wrists, according to my doctor, are fine. I complained about a twinge a while back, had my right in particular looked at. I had just strained it lifting something heavy and had to wrest it for a while. Specialist said my wrists look to be healthier than some people half my age.
Long story short... nope.
My camera is horrible...but here is my Noppoo Choc Mini with a few custom keycaps, and my favorite mouse ever (I have tried way too many) the Zowie EC2 EVO (kinda wish I had the EC1 however due to size)
NOTE: I will never own a full sized keyboard again. This setup is so much more comfortable for gaming.
Missalaire,
Is that some sort of variant of the Sanctuary set?
Interesting. It looks nice : )Its the limited white Sanctuary dyesub PBT set. There were only like 50 sets made, they were originally obtainable only if you bought a specific Korean custom keyboard.
How is the actual surface?
The surface is more of a control glide than a speed glide, if that makes sense. I like it better than the glide on my X-Trac pad. This Perrix pad fees very well put together. The edge stitching is tight and should provide good protection against fraying. How is the actual surface?
I ended up getting the Corsair MM200 Extended to replace my Goliathus because I need an extended format. The glide provides a very nice controlled friction although the lack of anti-fray stitching might be problematic for some people. I still think the Zowie GT-F Speed is the best mouse pad out there in terms of quality and glide though... I would buy one in a heartbeat if they brought out an extended version.
