Post Your Mac Setup!

Love it. I upgraded the RAM to 4GB and the hard drive to a 640GB 5400RPM model. Best laptop I've ever owned or used. :)

Did you upgrade thru Apple or purchased them separately and installed them yourself? I'm considering a MBP as well, just debating whether to go with Glossy or Matte.

I have
Macbook white pre unibody.
2 ghz core 2 duo
160 gb hd <-- freebie via applecare I love this warranty
4gb ram

Broke many times but apple care is awesomeeeeeee

Bought the RAM and HD from Newegg and did it myself. It was easy to do and cost about $600 less than going through Apple.

Looks like an IKEA Galant.

Yes it is

That is a hell of a big Wacom tablet . . .

That is actually the intuos4 Medium, they make a large and extra large as well. I had originally planned to get the large until I realized that it was so big I wouldn't be able to fit it in any laptop bag if I wanted to take it with me, and I'm glad I ended up with this one because I can't imagine using one that was any larger.

for anyone that might be interested, Heres a close up of the tablet:

Please excuse the nasty coaster...

Beyond sweet - I snagged a bamboo pen/touch a few weeks ago and still tinkering with it. The ultimate goal is to use one with autocad and see if it helps the hand or not.

In case you guys with the Aluminum keyboards having been looking for a wrist rest, I found a solution. As you know, most wrist rests are too high for the low profile keyboard. Some say you don't need a wrist rest, but I don't like resting my wrists directly on the desk. So I found 12x17 Artistic Products Rhinolin Embossed Desk Pad (google - search Amazon). It's not meant to be a wrist rest but instead a desk pad to cover your work area. Its 17" matches the width of the wired aluminum keyboard, and the 12" leaves plenty of room to rest your wrists. It's really just a glorified place mat, but it keeps my wrists off my desk surface.
