Post your CPU idle temps and cooling used!

xp-m 2500
slk900a ys tech 92mm 66 cfm fan
2.3ghz @ 1.625 volts, waiting for new power supply to clock higher
34C idle 37C load (case off)

My system is a AMD 1.4Ghz, and when Idle runs about 23C, but even at full load it usualy doesn't go above 35C, but then its a fairly old processor.

watercooled, all specs in sig.

CPU Idle Temp: 35c
CPU Load Temp: 45-49c (depending if the AC is on or not!)

26C
Stock cooling, only a side fan at 27CFM blowing in cool air. PSU fan exhausting cool air out.
It's a cold cpu.

CPU Idle: 37C
Cooling: Swiftech MCX478-V w/ Vantec Tornado 92mm
Pentium 4 2.4A @ 2.6

Can go as high as 3.4 on the air cooling but it gets too damn hot in my room for that.

this is the kit i'm using: noisisolator water kit
a Swiftech MCW6000-A and an MCW20-A and an MCW50 are being ordered this moment, while having the northbridge and the videocard in the loop will probably heat up the water a fair bit, my

room temperature is - 25C
cpu at 8% -> [H] is ----- 37C
Mobo ---------------------- 27.5C
northbridge ------------- 32C

the 30 litre reservoir in a big glass water jug seems to keep pretty close to room temperature on its own... the only fan i have is in my power suply and on my GFX5200, soon to be replaced by an MCW50....
i'll post again with when the 3 new blocks are installed...
gotta get a digi-cam so i can show pics in the Show-off your water cooling thread

hey guys after 'seeing those temperatures... my cpu (amd 64 3400+) is idle right now at 48 degrees C... my system is at 42 degrees C.. I have 6 fans up and running.. ok, my airflow isnt too good since its pretty small and there is a lot in it, but what can i do.. as soon as i put some work on it, ist shoots up to 60, once it crashed already... btw my case is open right now...

any suggestions how to get those temperatures down? is taht normal?

a64 3200+ 2.4ghz @ 1.6v
w/o cool&quiet - 38c
w/ cool&quiet - 30c
zalman cnsp7000-cu

your room temperature makes a big difference cuz thats the same air that is blowing through your fans. so try cooling down your room a bit

2600 at stock speeds (hey, you didn't say only overclocked ;))
80F ambient
38C idle
Volcano 9 (for such an old heatsink, it does pretty damn well)

Um I was about 29c with my setup Danger Den Maze 4 and car heatercore with 4 120mm on it and a maxi jet 1200. But As of right now I am running at about 47c which is freaking insane. It might have to do with how hot it is right now in WA. I dunno or maybe I need to reseat it or something. That and I dont have ac so who knows I just cleaned the system out today.

Expensive and efficient: get water cooling dude, Huge difference if done well
Cheap and a little effective: how big is the room your computer is in? if it's small a cheap stand-up AC unit would be perfect, keeps the temp nice and low and also keeps the humidity WAY down...

[email protected] (2180)in a thermaltake xaser2 case, modded with alot of fans .........5 in 5 out
MSI K7N2 delta2 platinum
thermaltake heatpipe 101 with a 90mm UFO

room temp, 19c
case temp,.21c
idle temp, 22c
load temp, 29c

now im not sure wtf is up with this board but i really doubt those idle and loads are on im thinking the msi software only reads socket temp and not dye temp so they are really probly a good 3-5c higher than those listed, I tried to use MBM5 and there is no support for this board that I can find for it :( whats another good temp and system monitoring program as id like to try something besides the msi software to test these numbers

Desktop XP2500+ (AQYHA 0414) @ 3200+ @ 1.55v on Stock amd hsf. (copper base)
40-48c idel/load, 30c mobo, 25c ambient, case shut, no extra fans.

Desktop XP2500+ (KQYHA 0419) @ 3200+ @ 1.65v on Stock amd hsf. (shxxy one with copper core)
45c-54c idel/load, 30c mobo, 25c ambient, case shut, 2 case fans. cpu runs about 5c cooler at 20c ambient. n also runs about 5c cooler with case open.

I had three desktop XP2500+s b4, but none of them could run XP3200+ stable cos they ran way too hot, needed 1.8-1.9v run 2.2ghz stable. zalman 7000alcu could run it stable at 2.2ghz on cold day with case open. but new ones r mad, runs stable XP3200+ with stock hsf n undervoltaged. can o/c 2.4g+.
