Post your AMD unlock pass/fail here! v. 2.0 + How to unlock (Please limit discussion)

Motherboard: DFI Lanparty 790FX-M2RS Jr
CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling Alpine 7
Voltage: tried up to 1.38

CPU Stepping/Revision: RB-C3
BIOS Version: most recent, 10/12/09

It will pass OCCT cpu for an hour and get through a prime torture test but I get random lockups running other software (like a browser) or opening menus. I've upped V-NB to 1.30.
Temps during prime hit 62C. Bad cores or insufficient cooling and or Vcore? Try dropping to 2 memory sticks?
edit: same results using the multiplier to drop cpu speed as low as 2.8
Increasing Vcore by +1.00 caused a crash before getting to windows desktop.
Since I'm not getting failures in prime I can't tell which core is the stinker. It's currently priming 2 cores at 3.6 on default voltage, so that's something.

Any other pertinent info: Has ran rock solid for over a year. Have had it revert back to triple core a total of 3 times then just had reset the PC. OC's to 3720 at 1.425
