Maker: MSI

Card: 5900XT

Stock Spd:390/700

OC Spd: 505/810 was all time high. Run it at 450/780 day to day

Cooling: Stock

3D scores/Aquamark scores: 3DMark03 high is 5694 Aq high is 39517

The main thing holding me back is CPU as well as other system parts. I was at one time (Might still be have not checked) in the top 10 scores for my CPU speed and GPU. Just checked Aquamark3 and at my CPU speed and GPU speed I am ranked #4 not to bad I guess. All the ones higher than me seem to have more system ram than me wonder if that makes much of a difference as their other specs are just about same as mine.

Card: 5900XT

Stock Spd: 390mhz/ 350mhz(700DDR)

I am not sure what is holding my OC back. I think it might be my power supply, but i am not sure.

the rig in my sig is my old one, 6590 from my NU isnt too bad (didnt do the 5950 flash)

my new chaintech 59xt sucks
415core /715mem and it only gets 5000 3dmark (2.5ghz athlon)

Maker: Gainward
Card: 5900xt Golden Sample
stock speed: 390core/700mem
oc speed (so far): 450core/780mem
cooling: stock
driver: Forceware 56.72
3dmark2001: 13500
Quake3 @ 1600x1200 8xAA/8xAF: 120fps
Farcry @ 1280x1024 with content on High and shadowing on V.High: 42fps

So far i've been satisfied with this card. It's every bit as fast as my 9700pro in the same rig and even surpassing it in Quake3. Had to switch to GFFX due to a catalyst driver issue with my system while playing farcry.

I had a nice experience happen with this card.
The first one I had ended up haveing bad mem on it, and it looked like this:
pnycard1.jpg

So I exchanged it for a new one, the same thing a Verto 5900SE, but this one looks like this:
pnycard.jpg

It performs a lot better plus I flashed it with a 5950 BIOS. On the card itself, under the PNY sticker, it''s labeled as a ASUS V9950.
So in the end it all worked out for the best,, and I'm happy with it :)
