It's a rebranded HITACHI Rear Projection, hooked up through component at 720p, looks very good, way better than it does hooked up to my 2405FPW through VGA, I'd rather take the jagged edge of 720p through component on my 2405FPW because VGA is extremely washed out.

Moved it from my Panasonic plasma, as that gets too much heavy use from TV.

Seriously looking at Sony's 70" 1080p DLP set for when we move next year, should partner a PS3 nicely :D

Why are you giving a lesser resolution to your 1080i TV that can't do 60frames per second anyway? Do me and all other CRT owners a favor and change it to 1080i....some games DO render in a higher resolution you can take advantage of.

Motogp renders above 720p, so if you see no difference and own this game, you're TV is natively 720p, But I know his for a FACT is 1080i, I own a Hitachi RP CRT as well.

The Hitachi up there is 1080i native. There are two things you can do:

Use 720p on the 360, and your TV will scale it to 1080i.

Or use 1080i on the 360 and your 360 will upscale it to 1080i.

Use which looks best to you...

....BUT...if there is no difference you can tell, then use 720p, that way your 360 wont have to upscale anything.
 
Got my ps3 at last! With all the users on this forum being negative about it i was expecting it to be a let down. why did i ever doubt this beauty? its awesome in every respect.

I hope to replace my 32" JVC with something in the HD family. The only reason the Xbox 1 is still there is because it is modded and running XBMC. I use it to stream all the video, audio, and photos from my file server in the computer room. If the 360 could do Divx, Xvid, and DVD ISO streaming I would retire the old girl. :)

wow, that is scary. we have the same desk, same computer in the same spot (same case at least), and 360 in the same place :eek:

i just picked mine up. do you find you have heat problems when playing it for extended periods of time, since its in the confined space? the few times ive played mine, i just pull it out from the small space.

It's one of the 2006/2007 series Samsung DLPs. Not sure if it's a 720p or 1080p model. I'm guessing the 56" 1080p model.

and YES prison break ISSSSSS the best show in the history of television....THE SEASON FINALE TONIGHT WAS INSANE!!!!! leaves me wanting more just like EVERY episode, i CANNOT WAIT until january 22 for the new season sheesh...
 
My 360 is off for repair, should be getting it back by thursday then ill post a pic of my setup. Dont want to show my lonely ps3 without its 360 brother to compliment it on its shiny looks.

Screw the Wii, I'm all about love for the DC. Unfortunately my TV has no VGA input, so it has to run 61" over Svid (no 480p DC lovin for me.)
 
Ah yes, <3 the Dreamcast. Haven't played it much lately since it started to reset itself at random. I've read some fixes but haven't had the time to try them out.
