I just dont understand when people dont bend em, or let alone DONT wear the hats on their head, but on the side and all tilted.

Maybe im just getting old...

I'm seriously considering buying it sometime soon, but wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of a 360/PS3 on it, as well as some SDTV. And of course, any problems at all with the set?

Just based on the input selection the Samsung is a much better choice. I have seen several Samsung LCD's in stores and have always been amazed at the IQ they put out. I dont really think you could go wrong with the Samsung LCD. Just do some searches on google for reviews of the TV and see what people say about it.
 
It definately is the way I'm leaning, but the Philips doesnh't look too bad either. But yeah, I've heard great things about Samsung LCD's, but it's hard to tell looking at them in the shops since they're usually pretty crappily setup (even so, the Samsung I saw (http://www.lcdtvbuyingguide.com/samsung-lcd-tv/samsung-lns3252d.html) was definately the best. But it was also $1200 NZD more expensive than the one I posted before, unfortunately (I'm looking to buy a 360 at the same time here, gotta buget a little).

Just flicked through some older pages of the thread, seems like a few people have this TV but crappy cameras. XD

lol im from brooklyn and a know a lot of people who claimed to have created that style. since theres no clear winner ill take credit for it. my grandma used to say the same thing to me tho thats what made it so funny to me "boy, bend the brim of that baseball cap!"
 
That sucks, ya just call MS and see if you can get a new one. Mines hasn't broke down but it does freeze sometimes.:(
 
Here's my Xbox 360 setup, which isn't with my other consoles. I only have an SDTV, so I wanted to hook my 360 up to my computer monitor, via a VGA cable. Also, I haven't run a long enough ethernet cable, from the computer room to the living room, to allow for my 360 (or any console for that matter), to be hooked up to the internet. The TV is the bigger reason though, obviously.

Haha, well I live in Western Wisconsin, with the closest "big" city probably being Eau Claire, but I've actually only lived in here for a year and a half. I was born and raised in Michigan, where I spent 25+ years of my life... though it was Upper Michigan, where I'd say there's more Packer fans then Detroit Lion fans. ;)

I'm thinking about upgrading to a 42" LCD or Plasma at the end of this month, or early next month. Haven't found anything I'm completely happy with though, so the cash may go towards a new laptop instead.
 
Got my Elite last week. Couldn't be happier with it. The picture quality is amazing over component cables. I was worried since I have a 2405 and so may people have been complaining about the picture quality.

Looks awesome!. wish i had that picture quality. I like the black look of the elite because the white look of the old 360 doesn't go with anything of mine and always sticks out.
