i've been seeing this happen a lot lately, where someone will post something to have it go above the person they were replying to. latest example, actually happened twice in the same thread:

i'm counting on the admin to give me a good explaination before i start telling scary stories about the [H] ghosts who randomly change the server's clock, thus messing up post order :p
 
I had that happen in the WAG. I think the database is on vacation.

Shit doesn't bother me, I think its funneh. I like the kinkiness of having your post play musical chairs on you.

From past tests in the DC subforum, we found that if mulitple people post at the same time, it goes by the alphabetical order of user names for the order that the posts show up.
 
Probably, this problem never lasts long, but it does come and go and is just a minor annoyance.
