i got 4200 something, that's not normal is it? how much do you get?

Not normal. X850 XT PE should be in the 6000-6300 range.

Edit: I'm not sure if numerous driver improvements have made it score higher, but allow me to correct myself and simply say 6000+ range.

ouch man... Thats only a 6600GT score. Thats really low...

What settings did you have it on.. 1024x768 No AA or AF?
 
My old P4 3.0 Northwood with an AGP X850XT PE gets 5759. I haven't updated the drivers in a while.

Yea, you should be getting at LEAST 5500. I will bet you haven't cleaned off drivers from your previous card. I had the same problem with a x800xl.. my scores were only around 3000. I did a complete reinstall of windows and installed one set of drivers and I was pulling +5000.
 
i bet you somewhere in catalyst control or ati tray tools (which ever one you use) the AA/AF is turned on somewhere...i had the same problem...when i turned it off I hit 6700 in 3dMark05

ok then i get 6200, card @ 570/570. I can hit 590 with my memory but I don't like to. It'll run to hot my tastes.
 
Sorry, I ment 2.6ghz, it goes that high stable but I have to increase the vcore more than i'd like so i only put it there for benchmarks, otherwise i run 2.2ghz
 
pulling a 4885 with rig in teh sig. I haven't had time to work on it, could probably do better...
 
my card thinks its an x850 xt pe
but alas A highly oc'd x800pro
still 6561 aint bad.

I get 5300 with my x8ooxl so ya, somethings wrong.
 
7122, amd 3500+ at 2.64 ghz and x850 xt at 589/648 (still working on clocks for gpu) with articcooler v5 revision 2

I havn't tried taking the card any higher, just stock cooling on it. CPU can go higher, but thats my everyday settings.

3dmark 05 score: 6917 @ 605/630- benchmark oc - i think i could oc it more....but i also need to oc my cpu...but i dont want to for now, ill break 7000 soon :) if i can be bothered
 
Looks like I will not be doing the 700/660 run since my mobo aparently died. Oh well, now I must decide to stay AGP (replace the mobo) or migrate to PCI-E.
 
i am getting a new mobo and harddrive. i think my problem is that i can't seem to find the correct bios settings for my mobo, so i am getting an intel mobo, no oc.

mobo is this, intel d915plgnl socket t lga 775 ddr1. thanks, everyone. i'll post scores as soon as i get it by fedex. please keep posting!
 
Im gna do an average for these cards to make a hard 3dmark 05 x8xx average and then seperate it into smaller categories.... e.g. x850xt(pe)+x800xt (pe) / x800gto2 / x800gto / x800xl

if the person who made the thread can change the name to x8xx card 3dmark05 score or something that would be good :)
