Post comp specs if over 303mhz fsb

If I was to overclock my 840 to 303 I would need close to 290watts just for the cpu.
 
Not the memory i'm going to use so I haven't messed with timmings yet. Voltage is at 1.45, prime stable, haven't tried going higher yet. Idle is kind of high at 44c with a CNPS9500, 52c under load. The load temps kind of threw me off, my E0 541 that I have idled at 39c and had the same load of about 52c.

Holy crap, nice speed for a P4. I know its already 3.8 but you cranked out the FSB all the way up and got it to past 4.5GHz, nice job lol. Makes me wanna get one.
 
Mother of god.... :eek: 400MHz FSB. I see those are Engineering Samples though :p
 
You were able to do 400+ without any mods to the board right? I think I read on XS that fugger got his P5WD2 to do that.
 
yea....lot's of guys can get the p5wd2 running 400fsb no problem,iv got 1 mobo that does 450 fsb w/o mod's

lmao, any good cpu's to do 400+ with besides something way expensive? Id love to join the club :cool: , DDR500 HyperX present, so I dont think id have a problem :D
