Hi all...
I've had some weird issues in my time with my 5870 Saphire...wondering what others might
think about it.

First off my specs:
i7-920
12 GB DDR3 Ram
Saphire HD5870
Win 7 64bit
Asus P6T6 WS Revolution

Catalyst 10.2 drivers
Here is my DXDIAG .txt file

with screenshots of the first two for if you want either

Lately I've been having weird crashes while playing games...
I've been able to get a few screenshots, but I think its on par with GSOD sometimes...(hard to get screens of that ;) )

I also have had a random mouse cursor issue which I cannot figure out as well and have posted a thread which has not helped...have tried all suggestions in that thread.
In that case the cursor graphically changes being messed up and not sure sometimes what I'm pointing at. It is a sporadic issue, one that fixes itself irregularly.

I'm starting to think that I have a bad graphics card.
Would like some advice from the [H]ard users before I decide to RMA.

Thanks for the [H]elp!!!

RMA it. It's probably a bad GPU. Maybe try different driver version first though. If that doesn't help, RMA. Sapphire is pretty good with RMA service from what I've heard.

btw, star trek has terrible coding for ATI cards, i had the same thing with a functioning HIS 4870 512. this card ran everything just find except for STO. This is a problem with STO, not really the cards fault.

that being said I sold my HIS (works just fine) and got a sapphire 4870 for the same price. the sapphire works. go figure.
