Pop Charts Set For Radical Overhaul

The U.K. pop charts are going to start counting digital downloads when ranking the number one single spot on the charts. Now, if you are like me, you probably thought they were already doing things this way but it would seem that isn’t the case. I was scared at first, I thought they were talking about overhauling Pop Tarts.

Up to now, only songs which were physically available for purchase in shops counted toward the weekly chart. Downloads could be included, but only a week before an actual CD single went on sale and for two weeks after it stopped appearing in stores.

How would one overhaul Pop Tarts...? OT I know, but something to think about...
