I've had one of these for about a year for my PC set up. Sounds great

I have one of these as well as the PSW505. Got my PSW10 almost 3 years ago for $80, and it's still going strong with my htpc. Probably the best sub under $100.

I have this sub and it's solid. I got mine for around 100 several years ago and it's done great service in a 2.1 multi-purpose gaming/multimedia rig (with polk 40s).

This is an interesting deal. I researched subs a while back and it seems like your options are either in the $100 range or $500 range. This seems like a good deal and you would have to lay down some serious cash if you wanted anything significantly better.

Thanks op!
House is being built right now, due to be done in 4 to 5 weeks. My father and I installed 5.1 built-in wiring and I've been looking at this sub for bass. I was ready to spend the $170 or whatever it usually goes for in 5 weeks. You just saved me $100.
Thanks!

Another proud owner of this sub. It has served me well for over 3 years. Nice deal!

I love my PSW10s... they're not $1,000 subs, nor do they pretend to be. But they put out an impressive amount of low end oomph, and aside from a bit of port chuffing when at extremely high volume, they're just awesome.

I put about a pound and a half of Polyfill in mine, it helps to warm up the low end and also helps with the port noise.

So if my receiver has a single RCA for the sub output do i need to split that using a different cable into two RCA for the left and right inputs?

The manual states that you can use a splitter OR connect the single cable to either the left or right inputs on the sub. I can tell you that in practice with the PSW10 you should always use a splitter. Using a single RCA connection to either L or R inputs on the sub results in weaker bass.

Thanks for the help I was just searching for the manual now but "personal" perspective goes a long way! :)

Looks like it'd be a good partner for my Vizio soundbar. Too bad I'm on the wrong side of payday...

Newegg has this on again for $70 after rebate...

538 reviews, and the average is 5 eggs... you don't see that too often. :)

Thank you!!! I was so bummed out when I missed the Amazon deal because it went to $99.99 and then to $145 (now down to $122). So I jumped on the one from Newegg when I saw this. I don't mind to deal with the rebate. Was so tempting to get 2, but realistically I only need one. Going to use this with my Audioengine A5s because their matching 8" sub is overpriced.

Great sub for $100 or less apparently lol. I've had mine for a year and have no regrets.

Got it today; holy cow this is a great sub for the price. $70, are you kidding me? You could do much, much, much worse than this. And I've been on a little Deadmau5 kick lately too, so the timing couldn't have been better.

Half thinking mine is blown. $69 for a sub, box and amp is a great packaged deal...but compared to any other sub I have had, this one sucks :/ it isnt tight at all 538 reviews cant be wrong, or can they

Well, I own a 15" Cerwin Vega sub that kicks the PSW10's arse to the moon and back but I mean for $70 you have to have realistic expectations. I wanted a cheap but quality sub that would help round out the low end of my A5s and this has certainly done that. It won't rattle any windows but if you have a 2.0 system that can't hit the low notes, adding the PSW10 definitely fills out the sound. It thumps, but not like one of the big boys. I'd say it's much more at home being a musical sub in a small/mid size room than a HT sub in a large living room.

In comparison with the Logitech subs that come with their 5.1 PC speaker system, this one probably isn't as loud (I had the Z-680s), but at the same time it's much less boomy and really shines with music IMO. But compared to $300-$1500 subs out there, yeah you're likely to be disappointed. For $70, it's a perfect complement to a 2.0 setup in a room that isn't cavernous.

You have to spend over $500 to get even get into a real home theater sub. This will suffice for a small room at reasonable listening levels or with a computer, but its not going to wow for HT or music. In its price range this is great, but it just isn't going to compete with even the budget offerings from the likes of Bic, Klipsch, and the slightly higher end Polks. You absolutely can't beat it for $70, but at this price range you leave a lot on the table.

If I crank mine even a little bit it's loud enough to piss off the neighbours downstairs. More than enough sub for me. Going on 2 years with it, and it's been great.
