PocketNow Review: Nexus 6P vs Moto X Pure Edition

Video review from Michael Fisher, it looks especially nice in full screen.

Have always been impressed with Michael Fisher's presentations. His coverage, speaking cadence, articulation, and linguistic skills are quite impressive. He is also a professional actor. PocketNow posted his background. Link

I watched the review...nothing earth shattering in it.

Don't want to watch:
Nexus 6P gets faster updates, is faster, and is a nice phone overall.
Moto X has a lot more cool stuff (active display, etc.), can be customized, and is cheaper.

If the X Pure had the 810 and a decent AMOLED, I would prolly rather have it. I wish either of them had IR blasters though, gonna miss that from my M8. I use it almost daily.

Are you Michael Fisher?

That made me laugh really hard for some reason.

The Moto X Pure is very impressive for the price. I probably would have gotten one myself had I not gotten a G4 on the cheap.

I laughed too. It was funny.

The chances of G4 getting future updates are probably higher than Moto phones, including the X Pure, if that matters to you.

Moto's software is the best without doubt but they are removing some cool features in their M updates, like Moto Assist IIRC.

Was going to order a X Pure 2 days ago.

Ordered a 6P yesterday.

Feel like cancelling the 6P today.

Decided to wait till tomorrow to see how I feel then...
