Is it me, or do some people just not respond to pms? I feel that if you have time to post here ,you have time to at least check your thread, and respond to pms(for sale/trading). The same goes for editing. I hate going thru 8 pages of thread, to find out if something is sold. Oh yeah, and a look deserves a bump, it don't hurt, honest. Thank you Bigdaddy51

Yeah i agree, its also how ancient threads get revived for no reason..people please EDIT your sale threads, as well as posting at the end wether something is gone.. and if someone sends you a PM, reoky to it, regardless, so they know you got it..

My girlfriend is usually too irritable for a few days every month to edit her posts too.

I was with you up until "a look deserves a bump." When I browse the FS/FT section, I often look at most of the threads. If I went bumping all the ones I looked at, not only would it bloat the forum with a lot of posts (heck, I'd be constantly waiting for the 30 second minimum post time), but add in everyone doing it and bumps would become worthless, threads would get bumped 10 times their first 3 minutes of existence etc etc.

Bumps are arbitrary, you want to bump bump, you don't don't. ;)

What I thought from the title too. :p

In FS/T everyone has the ability to lock their own threads. If your "sale" is over, please lock your thread.

That was the EXACT same thing I was thinking :p

Someone replied to me in a WTB thread, I sent them a PM and no reply. So frustrating, I wish they'd just send me a PM back saying they can't help me out rather than just not say anything.

You can always request a 'read receipt' to make sure they are reading their PM's

`I usually post a bump in a thread that has something I'm interested in. That way, it's easy to find later in your control panel. If you do browse every thread, then it makes sense that you wouldn't bump. I kinda got pms, when someone said the item was sold, when I was the first poster in that thread, only minutes after it appeared. One other author of a thread explained why he didn't reply all weekend. I guess it's all part of being part of a traders forum., but anyone who wants to sell what he's listed, should pm asap, and keep his first post up to date. BD51

Don't worry about that, they'll figure out that they have a PM in a couple months and then they'll respond to ya. :D

and it's really not all that hard to check... look up in the top right corner...
