Plex connection issues

I have successfully setup the plex media server, I am able to connect to the server with both the plex media center and myplex connection from inside my home network.

When I connect to my guest network and also from other outside networks, I lose all connections thru myplex. I do have the port (32400) forwarded in my router, and have tested that the port is open from the outside. but still when logged into the myplex it says that the server is "unavailable"

I have googled like mad but still have no better luck, has anyone else had this issue? If so what was your solution?

I had a similar problem getting mine to connect, finally ended up disabling windows firewall completely. Worked fine ever since.

I believe that the purpose of a Guest Network is to seperate the networked devices.
I had a similiar issue.
In the end, the best way is to have the Plex Media server/devices on the same network natively.
