Hello

I am on market for Asus PB328Q, and would like to have one or two 24" screens (1920x1080 16:9) to accompany it.

I am not into gaming, so 60 Hz will do fine and input lag is no problem.

But I'd like to have good sRGB colors, deep enough blacks and good viewing angles. That means, any "better" technology, like IPS or MVA or PLS or any variant of these will do, but TN will not. And since this will be for a multi display setup, the bezel would preferably be at least as thin as on the PB328Q. And VESA mount is mandatory.

And I'd like to not pay any more than necessary. I would have gone with Asus VE247H, but it's TN.

Easy to do this research yourself -- not sure why you're asking here. Look at 24" IPS displays, check reviews to confirm color accuracy, purchase the cheapest one you can find that meets your standards.

Maybe to save time in case someone has already done the research. But I'll try.

Acer S240HL (TN, no VESA)
Samsung S24D390HL (PLS, no VESA)
Acer K242 (TN, no VESA)
BenQ GW2470H (AMVA, VESA, 23.8")
Asus VG245HE (TN)
Asus BE249QLB (IPS, 23.8")
Asus VE247H (TN, 23.8")
Asus VE248H (TN)
Asus VX248H (TN)
Asus VG248QE (TN, 144 Hz)

Looks like I'll have a hard time finding a perfect match. To be continued...

What if I want a 16:9 one? P2417H is easily available here, but I can't find any reviews of it. Trying to find out how it compares to U2417H (reviewed at TFTCentral). I'd go with P2417H also because I want there to be a very small bezel rather than practically no bezel at all. Also, the Pro would be 2/3 of the price of an UltraSharp.

I think you are right to look toward Dell's P and U series, because they have fully adjustable stands capable of pivoting, so no monitor arm cost for same configurations. With that said, the best companion for a 32" is another 32" ;)

I don't have space for more than one 32" and I have already settled on getting a monitor arm for each display. But I can't find any reviews of the P2417H.

What are you using the monitor for? 16:10 is better for work/production. For a daily monitor, just grab a couple of cheaper VA panels with small bezels if cost is a problem... If it's for the purpose of colour space, that would suggest workstation/some type of photo or video work, and 16:10 will help you a lot...
