please...help me

ive been using ATI since the FX days before that i had a Geforce 2 mx 440.

right now i have a 9600PRO.

i need a new vid card pretty badly though. im thinking about getting the MSI 6800NU.

this is a huge upgrade form my 9600PRO im pretty sure, but i hardly ever see anyone getting them. i know they arent bad cards they have 4 less pipes, and lower clock speeds. but the question is, is it a better choice than a 9800PRO.

and is there any mods to get it up to a GT or maybe even an ultra.

all help would be appriciated.

you can find eVGA 6800NUs for $285 shipped.

and for those of use that could use an extra $120 on a new Athlon64 mobo, or another 512MB ram, or even 2-3 new games...it makes more sense.

Get the 6800NU, its what I'm doin.
 
yeah i just dont liek the eVGA HSF design on the card, the MSI one is much better in my opinion.

not to mention i have had a lot of good shit from MSI and its on red PCB ...LOL
 
It's currently the best buy if your budget is $300. It outperforms the top dogs from last generation (9800XT/5950 Ultra) and even gives the X800pro a run for it's money in some games..
