after being involved with a few CAT6A installations where we were pulling off of spools, i now want nothing to do with boxes of cable...

now that i have a couple nice spool holders, i'm looking for a good source for good quality (no CCA junk), SPOOLED (not boxed) cat5e and cat6 cabling...

seems to be pretty hard to find... anybody know where i can buy some online for reasonable?

i know monster cable used to sell some boxes of cat5e that had an integrated spool in it, but you had to find it for sale at certain times on amazon... that stuff was also pretty glorious to work with...

Your local electrical supply warehouse. I've gotten them from Grainger in a pinch.

Yep, any larger distributor like a Grainger, ADI, etc. will have it. Even some of my Audio Video distributors sell it.

Most are options whether you want box or spool.

If you can't find it spooled at a reasonable price, you could could always find an empty spool, buy a box and spool it yourself. Certainly a no fun project, but at some point it might be worth the hassle.
