Picking X670 seems to be a real hassle with neg reviews

I've heard of these USB issues with AMD but I've used both AM4 and AM5 extensively and I have never experienced it. What is the trigger, usually?

Unknown hardware combo I guess.

I had it on an Asus b550 itx board, with a 3900x. But not with a 5950x.

I actually downgraded to the 3900x. And the issue wasn't fixed by updates, in the approx 4-5 months I had that combo. So, I sold them separately.

I read that was resolved with the latest FW. I had another question:
I know why Asrock does not specify Thunderbolt but its confusing. I can't tell if this supports TB4.

Can this board output 4K 120/hz over the iGPU? It mentions 8k at 60fps so I would assume yet? I wont have a dGPU right away but if it can do 120hz, that will be fine for me for a bit.

I guess this would count as DP alt mode even though it doesnt say that?
