Some times when I don't even have it on silent or vibrate I don't get alert sounds from message, ect. or even locking it. If I turn it off and on it comes back. It just randomly does this, is there anyway for it not to?

Did you jailbreak your phone? Every once in a while, my 5s doesn't audibly notify me of an incoming text/e-mail. It seems to be fixed if I respring. I just chalk it up to a random software glitch. I'm sure I'd get annoyed if it happened more frequently, though.

Nah, it's fine now. I guess it just freaks out sometimes.

I think it's a bug with iOS7, it happened on my 5 and now my 5s. Usually fixes itself after a bit though. Never had that happen on iOS 6 I think, I do use mostly vibrate/silent though.

Might be dirt or moisture in a port somewhere. My 4s did same thing every so often and then it got to the point where you couldn't even turn it off. It would just immediately restart itself once it powered off. Replaced charge port and voila. iPhones do weird stuff when the charge port is wet dirty or damaged. Similar for ear jack port. My 4s echoes unless I have a piece of tape over the tiny hole next to the earphone jack. It's for feedback reduction I think but it's damaged on mine.
