For those that like an open headphone with great bass, check out the Philips Fidelio X1. These are normally $300 headphones that are on sale for $150.

These have been getting good reviews for gaming and movies.

Summary
Hell yeah I'm gonna recommend the Philips Fidelio X1! While their big bass and warm sound will keep me from calling them an audiophile headphone, it won't keep me from calling them fun. I'd bet any headphone audiophile that's into a bit of Electronic Dance Music, DnB, Ambient, Hip-Hop, and the like will find themselves grabbing these cans when the thumping tunes are in the mix.

The Philips Fidelio X1 has the uncanny ability to be both a big bass headphone and deliver an airy spacious sound. I've simply never heard that before in a headphone, and now that I have, I'm hooked. Yup, these are going on the Wall of Fame as the best open basshead headphones I've heard to date.

Was about to buy a "like-new" pair for $240 last Christmas, glad I didn't! This is an insanely nice deal, good lookout.

Also picked up cheap replacement cables since apparently the stock one is awful.

Man, I gotta stop buying headphones. I've purchased 3 pairs since Christmas (All Sennheiser, 1 closed, 1 open, 1 in-ear) yet I'm still incredibly tempted to pull the trigger here. What is wrong with me?

Worthy upgrade from ATH AD700? And are they at least similarly comfortable?

I am in for one! a friend of mine has these among other $600-1500 headphones. They are my favorites of the group and he paid $329 for them new. this is a raging HOT DEAL.

I am actually kind of proud of myself. I said no even though I know this is a great deal. Wait a minute, I take that back, I'm pretty ashamed..:(

Managed to sneak my order in, only downside is that they won't ship until February since they're back-ordered
