Philips 436M6VBPAB. Is this the best gaming immersive monitor?

    Just saw the PCmonitors review of this monitor:

    I must say it looks quite good.
    The size, 4k resolution, HDR1000 with real local dimming and Freesync make this a very tempting offer.
    It is a great option for someone that is looking for an immersive experience but still wants the desktop setup and gaming input of keyboard and mouse.
    I must say I am really tempted.

    What are your thoughts on this monitor?

    There is already a thread on this, but we should probably forgive you as it doesn't state the model name as clearly as your post :)

    I'd agree it does tick a lot of boxes. The review is very positive, and I'm hoping to upgrade to this soon once stock is more readily available.

    Personally I currently own the BDM4065UC which is the older 40" non-HDR model. It's been a brilliant display but I can't help but feel the draw to upgrade to HDR. The picture on this new model sounds superb given the specs.
