Can you post a link, I searched but did not find that article. I did find this https://sonarworks.com/blog/how-to-choose-the-best-studio-headphones/Sonarworks just released a studio headphone guide, based on freq. response, THD, replaceable pads & cables and durability. These are on the top of their open back list. Besting the $1085 HD800! This is a studio guide not an audiophile review FWIW. Anyway that you look at it, these headphone are a steal at $50.
There are several mods you can do to prevent that, from adding more "foam" to the original pads to pad replacement.I think the reason why they seem hot is because the pads are pretty thin, so your ear is pressed right up against the speaker. At least, for me anyway.
The 9500's connect using the standard 3.5mm audio plug.Ive got a Mic already do you think these would work good connected to a ps4/Xbox one controller? I'm using Polk 4 shot headphones since my astro a 40 took a shit
Sale ends in 7 hours. This deal will be gone by the time many of us East Coasters wake up in the morning (and around the time many West Coasters are going to bed) so if you've been on the fence, you'd better decide soon. Last call...
In all seriousness, they go on sale somewhere for under $55 literally every week. The other sales forums I frequent kind of get mad at how often they are posted, but they get posted anyway, because everyone who owns them tells them to let it go, they're WORTH posting about. These hit this price regularly. As long as you don't "need" them right away, just wait for the next sale.
Did anyone see the warning?

These are open headphones and "leak" sound, unless you have your own office they might be frowned upon.Did anyone see the warning?
I don't feel comfortable taking my $250 headphones to work.
when you unbox them let them play for about a day at a reasonable volume to break in the drivers - not normally a believer in that kind of thing - but it really seemed to loosen these up. They sounded a bit tinny when I pulled them out of the box. After a day of break-in they were great.
I personally thought the same about a few of my headsets.
Tiny and flat and then put em on a week later and was like wtf happened? Lol.
I ordered these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LBJ780O/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They had all the right buzzwords and promised not to impregnate my daughter.would anyone happen to know a decent source of shielded, plated cabling? somehow when ordering i neglected to notice that the cable for these cans is only five feet. monoprice has nothing (unless im blind), newegg is no better with their cheap chinese 28awg, & amazons cable section is a mess. trying to sort through it right now
NE's customer support is such trash. My paypal address was missing the APT so they processed it as a refund without even notifying me, and now it's sold out and they refuse to process it as a replacement even though I know they have the item.
I like the JVC Harx 900's https://www.amazon.com/JVC-HARX900-High-Grade-Full-Size-Headphone/dp/B0013P3ZOE and I also own the 700's https://www.amazon.com/JVC-HARX700-...=1520626030&sr=1-2-fkmr0&keywords=jvc+harx+70I bought got these based on this thread and love them.
I want to get over the ear headphones for work though and want to get closed headphones so as not to bug my office mate. Is there something that performs similarly at this price point but are closed headphones?
