Do you guys think this CPU would be a good choice for my new HTPC? I will be hooking it up to my 50" HDTV Plasma for DVD up conversion and Media center 2005 use. Thanks.
Thanks for the link. I have a AMD 3200+ socket 754 and was thinking I would use that in the bedroom with a large heatsink and a low rpm fan for MCE. I also need a Media center Pc in the family room to drive my 50" Panasonic Plasma. I was looking at the AMD 3800+ X2 and saw the great price on the Pentium D 805 and thought for my use that would be great. Or should I just stick with a single core AMD for the family room? Thanks for your help.
