After a second or two after I click sleep, the PC would automatically wake up, this happens only when Ethernet is connected/enabled. If I disable it, and keep the wifi on, it does not happen, it sleeps peacefully. I have checked every wake on LAN setting on the Windows (10 Pro) and BIOS, nothing is turned on. Mobo is ASRock Taichi X99, has 2 LAN ports, behavior is common to both ports. Router is ASUS RT-AC68U, I have had 2 of them and the problem persisted on both. Even when connected through switch its the same problem. Anyone experienced similar problem? Is it a bad port/mobo?

update the nic drivers and remove anything that might monitor it, maybe the asrock suite if it has one.

Turn of any wake-on-LAN options in the NIC's properties. WoL always causes my system to randomly awaken.

I do have Hardwaremonitor running all the time, but even after killing that or not running it at startup, still same result.

Make sure that wake-on-pattern match is disabled as well in the ethernet driver.
