Palit 8800GT-512MB is in stock in my local store. Don't know too much about htis company; all I read is this has an improved cooling system and 3 phase power supply.

Anyone has experience with this card or manufacturer? Too bad there is no review to state exactly how much temperature and noise are reduced.

I owuld like a quiet PC. I am currently waitng for the 8800GTS-512MB because the regular 8800GT are too hot and noisy. Don't want to spend extra cash /work to change the stock cooler of the 8800GT.
 
I am aware of the relationship between Palit and Gainwood. I am asking for user experiences for Palit.

I have to decide if I should wait and pay more for the 8800GTS-512 MB. I know that the noise level of a regular 8800GT will disturb me.
 
I would pay the extra $50 for that aftermarket cooler. I can't really OC my GPU because at 100% fan it's very, very loud.
