P8P67Pro + 2500K, I want 4.7Ghz!

You mention CPU-PLL overvoltage...do you really mean CPU PLL voltage? I can't find what you refer to in my BIOS.

I started messing with my overclock because of this thread. I needed to overvolt my CPU PLL to over 2.0 for 4.8 Ghz, which isn't good. Needed 1.44v core, too. Too much for 300 extra mhz. Maybe if my board had all solid caps I might leave it there.

I don't have the P8P67-Pro...but my ECS budget overclocker seems to do well. I'm @ 4.5ghz just over 1.3v.

Be happy with 4.5Ghz, even if you clock it to 4.8Ghz theres ABSOLUTELY ZERO/NOTHING/ZILCH/NADA noticeable difference.

So I guess your telling me CPU PLL overvoltage = CPU PLL ?
