Overclocking with SLI

Just got a pair of 7800GTX OC and would like to overclock it more. Question is using coolbits and setting the hardware frequency, does it overclock both cards at the same time? or is there an option to overclock each individually?

Also, Ive heard that you can have asynchronous clock speeds, is that true?
 
To my knowledge when you're running both cards in SLI the coolbits sliders adjust both cards simultaneously.

I don't think you can run the cards at different clock speeds unless you run them as singlular cards not in SLI mode. If you put two cards in that run at two different speeds out of the box, they will both run at the speed of the slowest card in SLI mode.
