I'm a bit iffy on messing with the timings, and whatnot on my ds3 (rig in sig). I've got some high speed ram, dominator 1066mhz stuff, but I'm not running it close to that. I'd love to get it up there, and have some tighter timings.

Someone with a ds3, or knows how to oc on a ds3, can ya help me there?

Thanks.

Hey stain.

Click Ctrl+F1 (I think its ctrl+f1...) in your bios to unlock the memory options. If you want your ram to run at a higher speed set the ram multiplier to 2.5 (2.5*378 = 975mhz) or even 3 (3*378 = 1134Mhz). Be warned though, I have a DS3 (micron D9s don't OC that well on a ds3 in general) and my ram won't overclock well unless I loosen the timing to 5-5-5-15. At 4-4-4-12 it can only hit 880Mhz, but it does over a 1000 with 5-5-5-15. You have to increase the voltage to your ram as well. The stock setting is 1.8V, but my crucial ballistix run at 2.2V. I have mine running at 1:1 ratio with fsb cause I'd rather keep the tigher timings, but I might mess around with them one day.
