ok the e6800 has a multiplier of 9
fsb of 1066

i want to take the e6800 to 3.6ghz so.. so i set it 400x9=3.6ghz

now for my ram.. i would just have to increase it to 400 as well right? so 400x4=1600mhz fsb?

let me know if i'm right.

thanks

Well your ram would be 400x2(800mhz), the FSB would be 400 base then quad pumped(1600mhz). In the BIOS there should be some option that lets you set the ram to 1:1, sometimes it's labeled 1:2 or it might just list speeds, if the FSB is set in the bios to 400 if there's a setting that says 800mhz then that's also what you want (that's the same setting as 1:1, just listing the speed instead of the multiplier)
