Outlook XP recovery

My boss fubar'd his Outlook Xp and uninstalled it, then reinstalled it.

Is there a way to recover the .pst and .wab files to rebuild his Outlook?

When you uninstall outlook it does not remove the pst file. It should still be there.

On XP machines it normally is at C:\Documents and Settings\"USERNAME"\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Just run import after you reinstall.

You shouldn't need to worry about the wab file since the pst file should have all contacts in it.

We'll try it. But it doesn't look like it's there.

But then again he gets over 300 emails a day even under the new email address.
