Working on a fresh installation of Win7 Ultimate and Office 2007 Ultimate.
Got Outlook installed and setup with my mail accounts (this is the first time I'm using Outlook - moved from Thunderbird) and it synced with my phone and all seemed to be right with the world.
Then I tried to send an email message. It gives me the error: "the operation failed. an object cannot be found." and the message goes to the "Outlook" folder in the Personal Folders (even though I told it to send sent mail to another folder).
This is an GMail IMAP account in Outlook 2007. I've been googling and it might have something to do with Offline Address Books, but the instructions for rebuilding them are to open Exchange Service Manager or something like that... I don't have that.
Can someone help me out on this issue? If I can't send mail, obviously that's a killer, but I'd really like to use Outlook because I have a WinMo phone and need to sync the calendar and tasks and so on.
Thanks.
