I used to have 98SE and Windows xp installed. It would ask me which os i wanted. I got rid of 98 and re-installed xp. But didn't reformat. How do i get rid of the choose menu?
Right click "My computer"
Goto Properties
Click "Advanced" tab
Click "settings" under startup and recovery
Click "Edit" under default operating system
Delete the line in this boot.ini file that has the windows 98 text at the end. should be under [operating systems]
